Rene Marie Russo, an American film director and actress who was a former supermodel is now a film director. Her beautiful beauty and success in the film industry reflect her talents as an actor. In the late 1970s when she started her modeling career, and soon became one of the leading figures in this industry. She studied acting and theatre at the start of the decade, before starring on stages throughout Los Angeles, and other regions of California. The year 1987 saw Russo portrayed Eden Kendell on ABC's show Sable. The following year, she played Tom Berengers love interest in her debut movie Major League. Critics, initially skeptical by her acting abilities but eventually redeemed themselves when they saw her constant performance. Her performance in Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak was a favorite of reviewers, since she stood in the way of Dustin Hoffman or Morgan Freeman. She has admitted that she's not a fan of acting. She was in 2005 when she was on a break that was her own decision. Her return was in Thor. Her husband's Oscar-winning movie Nightcrawler was one of her roles. Later, she would star in light-hearted comedies such as The Intern and Just Getting Started.

Rose Namajunas has been one of the UFC's most well-known female athletes. Her journey began in the amateur ranks, participating in various regional events. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her up and she later signed up for Ultimate Fighting Championships. Following her joining of the UFC in 2011 she was a household-name due to the success that she enjoyed both on and off the Octagon. Namajunas is the name of a Lithuanian born American who was born on June 29, 1993 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Rose was a basketball player as well as kickboxing when she was growing to maturity. Invicta Fighting Championships made the opportunity to make her debut as a professional at age 18, when she defeated two competitors. Dana White noticed this and in December 2014, at the age of 22 she signed her to fight as a strawweight with UFC. In the course of Rose s career she has been through periods of highs and lows but each time coming out on top. Rose fought Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April of 2015. Rose was awarded the Women's Strawweight Championship and also won the title of Fighter of the Night. It was the first time a woman was able to fight a big promotion to win a championship. Namajunas continued to have many other victories, including 2 wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her Best Performance of the Night award from UFC.
