Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956 is a British Canadian actress. Most well-known for her role in the role of Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series for which she received nominations for five Emmy Awards as well as the four Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the most outstanding supporting actress. The role was reprised in the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010).
